Started today, 18, "Governance et l'environnement dans le Brésil contemporain", promoted by the University Paris 13, in France, and that will be bringing together researchers from Brazil, including the Federal University of Pará (UFPA), as well as researchers from other regions of the world. The goal of the event is to raise discussions over the Brazilian Amazon, and governmental actions. The event runs until tomorrow, 19.

Between 23 and 27 November, professor Rodolfo Zahluth Bastos, the environment of the Federal University of Pará (a/UFPA) was in Martinique at the invitation of the Centre de Recherche sur les Pouvoirs Locaux dans la Caraïbe (CRPLC) to participate in the Seminar BioConSert (Biodiversité, Conservation, Services et Territoires), held on the campus of the University of the West Indies Schoelcher. The CRPLC incorporates researchers from Université des Antilles (AU) and the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) of France.

The professor of the post-graduate program in Natural resource management and Local development in the Amazon region (PPGEDAM) and the environment of the Federal University of Pará (a/UFPA), Dr. Gilberto de Miranda Ramirez, presented yesterday morning, 16, his public defense for career advancement, for the class professor. As a requirement of evaluation, the researcher presented a memorial, analyzing and describing in detail the entire professional career. The peer review was formed by professors Wanderley Messias da Costa, of the University of São Paulo (USP); Pierre Teisserenc, Paris 13, France; Iran Abreu Mendes, of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN); and Thaddeus Oliver Gonçalves, UFPA, who presided over the Bank.
