In recent article we began a debate on the need of cities having a territorial management project that seeks to permanently sustainability and social justice. However, we suggest an understanding of the concepts of sustainability and social justice in their broader senses that involve not only the ecological dimensions, social, cultural and economic, but also political and institutional issues and all its offshoots. So let's see some indicators that defy the cities in Brazil and, in particular, Bethlehem to the achievement of a fair, inclusive and sustainable city.

PPGEDAM's teacher André Farias represented the core of Half-in/UFPA, in the event that marks the construction on the network of Sustainable Development Goals (ODS), global effort that has Brazil as a signatory.

The graduate program in Natural resource management and Local development in the Amazon region (PPGEDAM), linked to the core of Environment at the Federal University of Pará (a/UFPA), makes the public Announcement for the selection process 2016.
